Support Pods
Connect. Collaborate. Amplify.
Support Pods are small, focused groups offered by Integral Leadership in Action (ILiA) to turn shared values into shared action.
Across the world, alumni circles, professional guilds, and faith-based communities thrive because they don’t just share ideas—they share resources. They act as force multipliers, helping each other grow through mentorship, collaboration, and trusted referrals.
The Integral community is rich in wisdom, but often lacks the infrastructure for real-world support. That’s what Support Pods aim to change.
Each Pod is a space to:
Exchange practical advice
Share projects and requests
Collaborate across fields
Build trusted relationships
Support Pods are how we move from isolation to collective momentum.
They’re not just about connection—they’re about doing the work together.
We have three ongoing monthly Integral Support Pods!
Integral Creative Writers’ Support Pod
We meet 1st Mondays at 4pm PST/7PM EST on zoom.
Next up: Monday July 7th, 4 PM PST/7 PM EST
Topic: At this meeting we will explore some exciting new developments in our corner of the Integral multi-verse.
ILiA, the sponsor of this Creative Writers Support Pod, has now partnered with Cosmos Co-operative, an Integral artists’ organization. Karen Voorhees has joined their writers workshop and Bett Bollhoeffer is currently working with the Cosmos founder, Marco Morelli, to further evolve Cosmos’ structure and governance.
Karen and Bett will introduce this new collaboration. Then we will all explore what this can mean for our Support Pod.
Cosmos Co-operative has much to offer ILiA in general, and this Support Pod in particular. In particular, Cosmos Co-Op has its own in-house journal and publishing company. And much, much more.
Please come and explore the possibilities with us! Your participation will help us shape the future trajectory of this Pod.

Integral Life Practices Support Pod
We meet 2nd Mondays at 4pm PST/7PM EST on zoom.
Next Up: Monday, July 14th 4 PM PDT/7 PM EDT
Kick off meeting!
Some people actively contribute to the Integral discourse—as authors, therapists, and coaches.
Others are fans who enjoy reading about it but may not be focused on applying it in structured ways.
The Integral Life Practices Support Group is for those who want to bring Integral theory into their daily lives through practical shifts, embodied practices, and shared accountability.
This support pod will aim for the following
1. We will use the book Integral Life Practice by Wilber, Patten, Leonard, and Morelli as a guide and blueprint for designing our personal integral life practices together. Please obtain a copy prior to the start date (Bastille Day!).
2. Accountability reports: we will develop a brief report practice where everyone takes a turn, itemizing what they committed to last month and what actions if any that they took, Followed by commitments for the following month. No explanations or excuses and no fault or blame for lack of completion. Simply a report with no judgment.
3. Conversations in the spirit of playing catch and not dodgeball: Standard integral community courtesy In co-creation. We will be sharing our strategies and inviting constructive feedback To uncover our mutual blind spots.
If you’ve done this before, please let us know what you learned.
Integral Support Pod
We meet 3rd Mondays at 4pm PST/7PM EST on zoom.
Next Up: Monday, June 16th 4 PM PDT/7 PM EDT
Topic: The Four Quadrants Meet the Five Systems: Integrating Stafford Beer's VSM and Wilber' AQAL for Organizational Transformation
This presentation explores the powerful synthesis between Ken Wilber's Four Quadrant (AQAL) framework and Stafford Beer's Viable Systems Model (VSM).
By integrating these complementary approaches, we reveal a comprehensive methodology for diagnosing organizational challenges and designing interventions that address both structural efficiency and developmental consciousness.
Attendees will gain practical insights into applying this integrated model to foster organizational transformation that is both systemically viable and integrally balanced across all dimensions of human experience.

“What a blessing it has been to discover such a brilliant group of like-minded, passionate integral leaders, who wish to support one another in our common desire to spread the integral work through the written word. Every single session without fail, I walk away on fire with inspiration and motivation, always receiving a treasured gift of learning - whether it be a new writing practice, valuable feedback on a writing project, a deeper understanding of an integral principle or a new perspective that widens the focus of my own personal vision. I highly recommend attending the Integral Writers’ Pod - it truly is a group of Integral Leaders in Action!”

“I’ve been attending ILiA’s Support Pod meetings twice a month now for over a year. They have consistently been one of the high points of my week. I love how we learn from each other and support each other's work and play. May there be many more ILiA Support Pods!”
